Sun TV replaces Rajakumari with Vamsam from Monday

Sun TV is replacing Ramya Krishnan’s Rajakumari with Vamsam (Tamil serial) from Monday, June 10, 2013. was the first to break the news that Rajakumari Tamil serial was being wound up and that a new serial would replace it come June, and that C J Baskar would direct the new serial.

Accordingly, it is now official with Sun TV announcing the end of Rajakumari, and that the new serial Vamsam would be aired from Monday. Vamsam would be telecast  Mondays to Fridays at the same time as Rajakumari, 8.30 to 9 p.m.

Sources said Vision Time would produce and market the serial. First production would be by Vinaya Krishnan, Ramya Krishnan’s sister.

Vamsam would have in its cast Vijayakumar, Seema besides Ramya Krishnan.  

Director C J Baskar has delivered several hits for Sun TV channel. With Baskar directing this next venture of Ramya Krishnan, the channel can expect another blockbuster on prime time.
